Do NOT DO ANY BUISNESS WITH THIS PLACE ITS A HUGE JOKE!! My husband is a truck driver and drives one of there lease trucks and let me tell you when u take it up there to be fixed they won't even try!!! They swear they fixed are Air but we are sitting in traffic in Ohio and it's 90 degrees in here. Blowing hot air. U have been warned they are the worst penske I have ever been to and the employes are assholes. This place needs to be shut down!!! I have had nothing but terrible experiences with this place!!
Now, we have been on the phone numerous times. His district manger has told him. The employees at Home Depot have told him. EVERY body has told him that my dad works there. So he goes back to doing whatever he was doing instead of going to fix the issue he made... my dad told him he was lying straight to his face which he didn't appreciate, so he needed to fix his mistake! Then Blake walks over and literally jerks the receipt paper out of my dads hand and goes back in to the office. After he has his little attitude inside and corrects it we go back out.
The rates here are low and the customer service is excellent. I choose them over everyone else when I have to rent a truck and have always been very satisfied. Oh yeah, be sure to ask for the military rate if you have any affiliation!
So Blake at the actual Penske rental office in Tupelo double booked our truck and even said that it was because he was getting more money from the other people. Okay I get it, it's business. BUT when the people at Home depot called to ask what was going on Blake basically said it wasn't his problem, when it most certainly was!!! We called his district manager Katie to try to get help with our problem because we HAD to leave today to get to Fort Bragg, NC and get my husband back home in time for work on Monday!! So Katie sends Blake or another one of their employees, I'm not sure which, to Memphis to get us a truck and they come back with somebody else's reservation!! Once again he said his reasoning was because he was making more money off those people. After calling back and forth with Blake and Katie and listening the huge web of lies we finally get a truck nearly 9 HOURS later. Blake was suppose to bring it to Home Depot and didn't. So we had to go to the main office and pick it up ourselves because it was almost time for them to close and like I said before we HAD to have that truck today! When we got there Blake was the one ringing us out and he asked if we were paying with card and I said yes... and he asked for it. He would not tell me my total so I wasn't gonna just give him my card... all he would say is that it matches our quote. When I finally got him to tell me the dollar amount he told me it was 100 and some odd dollars. Okay perfect. I gave him my card. He folded our receipt and went to hand to me and then pulled back and gave it to my dad. As we're walking to the truck, my dad looks at the receipt and he charged me 323.04 nearly triple what he originally said. So naturally my dad said that wasn't the price he told us nor was it the price we had printed as our quote. Blake said "well there's a deposit" and with my dad being a Home Depot employee we didn't have to pay that charge. So Instead of just correcting the problem, he gets an attitude with my dad and lies to his face. He said he didn't know he worked at Home Depot. (My dad was wearing his Home Depot employee shirt)

These guys will take good care of you here!!! Great service, great equipment!!!
I have NEVER delt with someone who was so rude and arrogant. He told lie after lie to cover up for himself. And I can guarantee that they will NOT have much business coming out of Home Depot anymore. But if you do choice to get a truck from their atleast ask to speak to someone other than Blake!!
For all things good please do not do business with Penske Truck rental in Tupelo, MS. They are nothing but liars and schemers. My dad made reservation on the 10th of this month to pick up our 16 foot rental truck from their Home Depot distributor at 9 am this morning July 28th.. he ever received a confirmation email and when we got there (a little before 9) the truck was in the parking lot. By the time we got inside to pay they had already given somebody else to keys.
If I could give it zero stars I would...
(Let it be known that the Home Depot employees do not know how many trucks they're suppose to get in and can not check if they are double booked. They are only a drop off and pick up place.)
Negative 5 stars if I could worst of the worst places to do business with taking 7 hours to change tires out maybe gonna even take 10 hours knowing these people if it been up to them they wouldn't even be changing them out they want the tire to go slick as a babies bottom before they change em out
But I do want to say a HUGE thank you to Meg Shiree and Colby at Home Depot for doing what they could! We really do appreciate it!
We finally get on the road to get going and just about every single engine light comes on and the tires were nearly flat by the time we got to the pepper town exit. So y'all please pray we get to Bragg and back safely!
