I worked for The Pines and loved every bit of the job. I did everything they asked me to without question.. I was there maintenance/painter .The reason for the low rating is due to management and the people over them... Even though I loved the work I felt everyday there were zero value to me being there employee...I put everything I had into this job.. I fell on hard times a week into working .. Me and my family were staying in a hotel to have a roof over our heads due to losing our home...My second week at work I lost my car and all my belongings... My clothes , kids clothes and much much more..... ...Management was well aware of my car and my family being a hair away from being homeless...I took this job because of the FREE apartment offered after 90 days...I talked to management and above them about these issues and was told I would get some help , they would put me into a apartment and pay 25% until the 90 days is up ... It was like God was looking out for my family ! We filled out our app even had our apartment number ... We were trilled like never before ! Management said " because of the situation there shouldn't be a problem' .. I was told the company does do this for there employees... ( the assistant got an apartment the day she started ...) the end of that day after my wife had even brought stuff to our apartment we were told "SORRY" you can't move into it ... We were told " you need a 3 bed ...Something I have said from the start ... There were many many 2 bedrooms open and just as many 3 bedroom open... At 5:00 I watched management and the other maintenance walk to there home with no concern about what me and my family was gonna do .... With no were to go I just sit there outside for hours ... That night , it started raining ... and with no where to go I started walking to a friends house 14 miles away ... The next morning I started walking again and made it to work 2 hours early... I went to the apartment we were told we would have and laid down until 8am. .Next day , I told management my wife would be coming to get the stuff out of the unit .. This seem to make them mad ... It wasn't long after when the manager and the assistant went to the unit to look at the little stuff we had in there..Ater they seen the stuff I was called to the office .. With zero concern , I was fired ..Fired and accused of moving into a unit without permission. .. This wasn't the case I explained .. Everything I said had no effect , the fact I was homeless.. The fact I lost my car and all me and my kids stuff.... My hard work was completely over looked ! How I walked to work just to make sure I was there...How I did everything they asked of me.. I took my hour lunch everyday and was always back ontime. . While my coworker took at time 2 hour lunchs... I was never late , I worked triple what my coworker did turning in tons of completed work orders , daily ... None of that mattered at all.. I was fired , and then told "sorry , in Mississippi we can fire someone with no reason ".. . Now I'm homeless, jobless, and have kids looking at me ... The company could have helped me... I was told they would ... Instead they have made my situation so much worse .... Putting me and my family on the streets with no job... I still can't belive the " I don't care attitude " these people have ...We are blown away by all this ... they could have saved us but choose not to even try ... As a Christian , I feel a responsibility to help others if I'm able too ... I guess I'm writing this review to let people know what type of people your dealing with ... I loved working there and hope the next guy loves it just as much..
Over priced paying for luxury rating. Some how has classified a German Shepherd as an agressive breed. Thought like people on how was raised.
