All though they are closed on Thanksgiving day I was able to get air for my car tires for free. That's hard to find these days. I have always been able to find great deals here. They have always been extremely friendly people, helpful and outgoing.
I purchased 2 tires from Mac's. 48 days later the tread blew off of the tire (tire did not go flat) the tread came off, ripped the front fender off of my vehicle and caused A LOT of damage. I took the tire to another shop, they looked at it and let me know it had been "retreaded" and it was over 11 years old. I called and spoke with Rick at Mac's who essentially told me "too bad" Let me know tires were sold as is. Which I understand, to a certain extent. 1. I should have NEVER been sold a retreaded tire 2. I should have never been sold a tire that was 11 years old and dry rotted. 3. There was never an apology, never an offer to make it right, he just let me know "too bad". I have been a customer for years, and I am a huge supporter of shopping local. But I will NEVER be back, and this review will not be the last time this incident is mentioned, because I would hate for it to happen to someone else.
