The entire hotel's interior was beautifully decorated. It was clean, and the employees were friendly and helpful.
Let me start with the fact that I am HIlton Honors diamond member and have had all fairly good experiences outside of this hotel. I checked in at 1am after a long day of work very tired. I walked to what I thought was my room (I was one number off), swiped my card (or so I thought) and walked in to the sound of screaming. Apparently I was one room off and scared a single women sleeping at 1am. I walked down to the front desk and asked them how my card could work for a different room not realizing I was a room off. Anyways I was told by management that I didn't swipe my card and that she must have not shut her door all the way. I went back to my real room and watched the door close. Apparently it doesn't shut completely without additional force. We aren't talking anything most people would notice but rather a quarter inch or so. I don't know how a hotel could have this happen. Hotel doors should be made to close with additional force for the security of everyone. Long story short this was one of my major concerns of my stay. Management was nonchalant about it. If someone wanted to steal from other rooms I am sure they could have because of this issue. What a joke!
For once, I got much, much more than I expected! I've paid twice as much for way less. This really is an excellent place to stay. Highly recommended.
The staff is very friendly, the room was very nice. The continental breakfast is fairly standard, but good. Overall, would recommend
Hilton honors memeber who stays exclusively at Hilton properties when travelling. I have come to expect a high level of standards from them and chose them years ago due to their consistency. This room was not fully clean, hairs in the shower. Vast open areas of undeveloped property all around this location, and their parking here is as cramped as I have ever seen. Lighting at night leading up to this hotel is non-existent, and it is hard to find even with GPS assistance. No electric vehicle charging (nearby Columbus location has it). Front desk staff at check-in was very indifferent. Did not get the typical warm welcome. I'd stay here again if push came to shove, but will be giving priority to other Hampton locations in the region first.
